There are so many things to do and so little space to tell you about them. You could, climb the steps and visit the Abbey, take a pleasure boat, join the pirates on the pirate boat(don't forget your parrot for your shoulder!), eat chips and ice cream, make sandcastles on the beach, ride a donkey, go fishing, catch crabs from the harbour wall, go out whale watching, have a paddle, walk the coastal path, frighten yourself silly with tales of Dracula, find out about the explorer and seaman Captain Cook, ride a steam train, explore the winding streets and alleyways, shop, take afternoon tea in a cafe, have a drink in one of the many excellent, hostelries, take a ghost walk....phew there is always something going on in Whitby whatever the time of year.
